| Golf | There are 4 golf courses in the area, one being Desert Springs, and a golf driving range on the main road in Mojacar. Website | |
| Vera Aqua Park | Open daily from May to September. Website | |
| Horse Riding | There are many riding schools in the area. Website | |
| Mini Hollywood | Located in the Tabernas Desert; it was built for the films "A Fist Full of Dollars", "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" plus up to a hundred more. Website | |
| Go Karts | Just outside Garrucha, this opens all year round. Website | |
| Vera Town | The town has a market on a Saturday. For those who wish to visit, the town has a Bull Ring, and Bull Fighting is from February to September. Website | |
| Mojacar Pueblo | Is approximately 10 miles from the apartment, the ancient Moor town is set in the hills above Mojacar Playa; it is a typical whitewashed village. Website | |
| Local beaches | The local beaches are wide and clean, most have bars and cafés. | |
| Garrucha | Is a working fishing port; you can get fish fresh from the boats in the local market. The famous Red Garrucha Prawns are fished in the local waters and are very tasty! The beach and promenade has a selection of bars and restaurants. | |

There are plenty of National attractions, including Granada, about a two hour drive away, with the famous "Moorish Alhambra".
Ronda is a town in the hills about a 2½ hour drive away, it has the impressive 18th century "Puente Bridge".
Cartagena has Roman ruins, is approximately 1 hour along the motorway towards Murcia.
